Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, work closely with radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging while following safety protocols.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials (or ARRT R cross-trained in MRI), BLS, and IV competency within 30 days. Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT required or ARRT MR cross-trained in MRI.
• Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams for patients using specialized equipment.
• Ensure image quality by reviewing images for clarity and accuracy.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within acceptable time while preserving patient care.
• Assist and educate students and other MRI staff on protocols and positioning.
• Provide patient education and comfort during exams.
• Maintain infection control and sterile technique.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and reactions.
• Follow protocols for coding, charging, consents, and QC.
