Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT MR and ARMRIT credentials, have BLS, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance may be offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification is required and maintained.
• ARMRIT credential is preferred or required as applicable.
• ARRT(R) MR cross-training in MR is expected within 30 days of hire.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic MRI exams on patients using specialized equipment.
• Ensure proper patient identification and order verification.
• Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete studies within acceptable time limits while preserving patient care.
• Assist and instruct students and other MRI techs in protocols and positioning.
• Provide patient education and address concerns, ensuring comfort.
• Maintain infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and any adverse reactions.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and reporting equipment failures.
