Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift (21:00–07:00). You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, collaborating with radiologists to ensure high-quality images and patient care.

Qualified applicants may receive a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance. The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and MRI safety knowledge, with opportunities to mentor students in a fast-paced

Qualifications

ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT or ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI.
BLS certification for healthcare providers.
IV competency within 30 days of hire.
Preferred: 1–2 years MRI technologist experience.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

Maintain ARRT/ARRT MR or ARMRIT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
Verify patient identity and prepare the patient for the exam.
Perform exams per department protocol and review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
Complete studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
Instruct students and other MRI staff in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
Provide patient education, ensure patient comfort, and address concerns.
Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
