Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard schedule (21:00–07:00). You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, collaborate with radiologists, and ensure high‑quality imaging while upholding MRI safety standards.

Qualified applicants may receive a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance. ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, BLS, and IV competency within 30 days are preferred, with 1–2 years of MRI experience

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) MR certification or ARMRIT credential required.
• ARRT(R) or MRI cross-training acceptable if noted.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT/competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per protocol and review images for quality.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time targets without compromising care.
• Assist and instruct students and other MRI techs in protocols and positioning.
• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC and report equipment failures.
