Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, work with radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging results in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials (or ARRT R cross-trained in MRI) and BLS. 1–2 years of MRI experience is preferred; a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or ARRT R cross-trained in MRI required.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT/ARMRIT/ARRT MR competency across clinical and technical tasks.
• Verify patient identity and prepare the patient for the exam.
• Perform MRI exams per protocol and review image quality.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Instruct students and other MRI techs on protocols and positioning.
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort.
• Follow infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate patient records and report equipment issues.
