Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 7 on/7 off graveyard shift (21:00–07:00). You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, work with radiologists, and ensure high-quality imaging while following safety guidelines.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT or ARRT(R) MRI cross-training, BLS, and IV competency; preferred 1-2 years MRI experience and a Bachelor's degree. Eligible for sign-on bonus up to $7,500 and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) certification or ARMRIT MRI credential or ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• IV competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams per department protocol and ensure high-quality images.
• Verify patient identity, verify orders, and prepare patients for exams.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Assist and instruct students and other MRI Technologists in protocols and positioning.
• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Document procedures and adverse reactions in records.
