Job summary

Americans for Prosperity (AFP) within the Stand Together community seeks a Grassroots Engagement Director to identify, recruit, and mobilize grassroots leaders in Fox Valley or Green Bay, driving policy reforms that expand opportunities for all.

You will organize events, train local leaders, and ensure ongoing communication to keep activists motivated, educated, and active, while overseeing part-time canvassing contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in grassroots advocacy, community organizing, and/or political campaigns.
• Volunteer or staff supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes.
• Ability to motivate and organize volunteers.
• Willingness to canvass neighborhoods and engage the public.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists and potential leaders across Wisconsin regions.
• Motivate activists to advocate for changes aligned with AFP principles.
• Organize events and outreach to educate the public on policy issues.
• Maintain regular contact with activists to keep them engaged and informed.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors, including scheduling and compliance.
