Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience in Powersports or Automotive field is preferred.
• 4-year degree plus related job experience acceptable.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with staff and management.
• Ability to maintain high confidentiality.
• Competent in FTA, FMEA, dimensional tolerance analysis, and CAD basics.
• Competent in creating plans and schedules.
• Competent in Adobe Illustrator or similar vector graphics generator.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic component and system layouts for ATV/SxS prototypes using CAD.
• Communicate specifications and manufacturing control points for final specs.
• Maintain technical, development, and administrative documentation.
• Meet cost targets by optimizing part designs and cost reduction ideas.
• Create and manage work schedules and coordinate resources with supervision.
• Communicate project status and participate in meetings and reviews.
• Generate ideas contributing to new technologies and applications.
• Develop and implement C/M specs with minimal supervision.
