Job summary

Honda is seeking engineers to contribute to the development of functioning prototypes for ATV/SxS vehicles, researching and applying new technologies to support business targets and maintain global vehicle quality.

You will lead CAD-based layouts, communicate specifications, manage schedules and costs, and collaborate across teams to advance production-ready designs while maintaining documentation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.
• 5+ years engineering experience, preferably in Powersports or Automotive.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring capabilities; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop or guide others to develop complex component and system layouts for ATV/SxS prototype vehicles using CAD to meet targets and manufacturing requisites.
• Communicate specification requirements and manufacturing control points via prototype and production drawings to set final global vehicle specs.
• Maintain accurate technical, development, and administrative documentation; delegate work; establish/lead cost targets and drive cost reduction ideas.
• Create and manage schedules; coordinate resources; effectively utilize contractor resources without supervision.
• Communicate project status and participate in project meetings; contribute to strategies that advance new technologies and product development.
