Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a full-time Grant Administrator for the Medical Practice Evaluation Center (MPEC) to oversee the sponsored research portfolio throughout the award life cycle. The role partners with Principal Investigators, MGB Research Management, and affiliate sites to ensure compliant execution of awards and effective budgeting.

Hybrid work arrangement is available with on-campus presence three days per week and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, accounting, and other computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Good organization and coordination skills.
• Ability to work with large financial data sets with accuracy.
• Knowledge of research agency, sponsor, and organization funding guidelines and policies.
• Strong negotiation and independent work abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the sponsored research portfolio life cycle from proposal to closeout.
• Assist with study procurement and ensure compliance with procurement regulations.
• Build budgets and provide guidance to investigators and research staff.
• Coordinate with Principal Investigators, MGB Research Management, and affiliate sites.
