Mass General Brigham is seeking a Grants Administrator to manage all phases of research grant and contract administration for an assigned portfolio. You will guide proposals, handle sponsor requirements, and support the proposal submission process.

This fully remote role may require occasional on-site attendance in Cambridge, MA. The ideal candidate resides in New England and has 3–5 years of research administration experience, strong budgeting skills, and knowledge of funding guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 3–5 years of research administration experience.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases and accounting software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large financial data sets accurately.
• Knowledge of sponsor, agency and institutional funding guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and make good judgments.

Responsabilités

• Process and prepare research grant proposals, awards and transactions.
• Prepare budgets, justifications and financial reporting materials.
• Identify overruns, cost-sharing opportunities and create solutions.
• Ensure proposal compliance with sponsor requirements and guidelines.
• Serve as grant management expert for the department.
• Train and orient new staff.
• Support high-complexity work and potential signing authority.
