Job summary

The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) – School of Medicine, Institute of Human Virology seeks a Business Development/Proposal Manager to lead grant submissions, budgets, and program development in collaboration with program leadership and the grants/contracts team.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, at least four years of program oversight and grant writing experience; PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Four years of program oversight including planning, budgeting, and coordination.
• Minimum four years of grant writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate grant submissions and progress reports with leadership.
• Coordinate proposals for NIH, CDC and other funders with grants & contracts team.
• Develop and monitor program milestones, budgets and subgrants/consultancies.
• Provide advanced administrative support to program leadership and PI directors.
