The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) – School of Medicine, Institute of Human Virology seeks a Business Development/Proposal Manager to lead grant submissions, budgets, and program development in collaboration with program leadership and the grants/contracts team.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, at least four years of program oversight and grant writing experience; PMP certification is preferred.

UMB is a public university and constituent institution of the University System of Maryland. All employees are expected to work primarily physically within the State of Maryland.
Bachelor's degree
Four (4) years of program oversight including program planning, budget, and coordination. Minimum of 4 years of grant writing experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
Knowledge of position requirements. Knowledge of all applicable requirements, regulations, and laws. Experience with a range of domestic and international donors as types of sources (government, private, non-profit). Skilled in effective use of applicable technology/systems. Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written thoughts, ideas, and facts. Ability to work cooperatively with others and independently. Ability to demonstrate, understand, apply, and adhere to the UMB Core Values of Respect and Integrity, Well-being and Sustainability, Equity and Justice, and Innovation and Discovery.
$85,000 - $95,000, Commensurate with education and experience
