Job summary

The VOCA Grants Program Specialist at the State of Oklahoma partners with subgrantees to implement funded projects while ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements. This role conducts monitoring activities, provides consultation and technical assistance, and helps ensure grant funds are used effectively and responsibly.

Funding for this position is provided through federal grants from the U.S. Department of Justice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, substantial relevant experience may substitute.
• Experience with grant administration, compliance, auditing or program oversight preferred.
• Working knowledge of federal and state grant regulations preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with grant management systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and desk monitoring reviews to evaluate subgrantee compliance and performance.
• Build productive working relationships with subgrantees while maintaining oversight.
• Review financial and program documentation to ensure proper use of grant funds.
• Deliver guidance to applicants and subgrantees on grant requirements and compliance.
• Coordinate with state and federal partners to support grant administration.
• Draft monitoring reports with findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Contribute to federal reports with programmatic and fiscal information.
• Support grant boards through meeting preparation and follow-up.
• Maintain audit-ready grant files and documentation.
