Job summary

The Oklahoma Arts Council is seeking a part-time Grants Coordinator to support the Grants Office and assist applicants, grantees, and review panelists across Oklahoma. This role emphasizes organization, communication, and accurate grant processing, data management, and scheduling.

The position reports to the Grants Director and requires initiative, reliability, and strong customer service to create a positive experience for constituents. 15-20 hours per week, $27.00 per hour, no other benefits.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in art, arts education, arts administration or related field is preferred.
  • Experience with grant programs, nonprofit administration or public service is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as initial point of contact for information about OAC grant programs and provide routine assistance.
  • Manage grant portal access, troubleshoot system issues, and communicate submission statuses.
  • Prepare materials for grant review panels, council meetings, and reporting processes.
  • Monitor applications, reports, amendments, and related materials; follow up on missing items.
  • Support data entry, records management, and routine reporting for state and federal requirements.
