Job summary

The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking a Program Management Support Staff Specialist in Silver Spring, MD. This full-time role supports federal grant programs, tracks documentation, processes stipend payments, and coordinates mentorship activities within the MFP.

The position emphasizes data management, reporting, and administrative support. Ideal candidates have a BA and 2–3 years’ grant management experience, with strong organizational skills and proficiency in Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience managing grants and nonprofit finances, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the MFP with gathering information from existing files requested during the annual MFP audit and supports professional licensure review process with leadership.
• Prepares students’ stipend payments, ensures accuracy of the fellows submitted documentation in a timely manner and tracks for finance review and the project director’s review and approval.
• Enters annual goals, tracks educational offerings, and submits quarterly data in the SAMHSA SPARS system, reporting training data to SAMHSA.
• Monitor and manage daily the programs mailbox, address, and follow through to appropriate staff for inquiries.
• Support special program projects as assigned.
• Assist in growing the MFP mentorship base and matching fellows with mentors.
• Directly supports and tracks administrative components for the annual Intensive Training Institute Conference.
