Job summary

Global Solutions Network, Inc. (GSN) is seeking a Grants Management Specialist to support the GMP for NIH/NIAID programs. The role involves system updates, workload management, and assisting with grant administration to meet critical business and research milestones.

The position requires a related bachelor's degree and experience with databases, plus strong Microsoft Office skills and excellent written and verbal communication. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• Familiarity with grants administration, federal experience preferred.
• Experience working with databases.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the Grants Management Program (GMP), including system updates and workload distribution, and support for grants administration to assist GMP in meeting actions that impact clinical research.
• Keep abreast of NIH and NIAID policies or guidance, or applicable laws and regulations, including those that impact clinical research.
• Participate in meetings/updates.
• Coordinate with GMP and DEA to plan, draft, and update SOPs or internal guidance related to grants process and policies, including those involving clinical research.
• Assist GMP with drafting and maintaining terms of award, managing online resources, drafting guidance for NIAID staff, and preparing presentations.
• Assist GMP with preparing responses to NIH and other requests for information.
• Assist GMP with scheduling internal training and coordinating with staff to ensure presentations are approved by GMP management in advance.
• Manage closeout process by overseeing closeouts and closeout reporting, communicating with GMP staff, grant recipients, NIAID divisions, and OPERA.
