Job summary

EY is seeking a seasoned professional for the Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services practice in the US. The role focuses on managing compliance and disaster recovery funding for government programs, leading client relationships and coordinating with local governments to deliver results.

You will work with engagement teams to ensure federal program requirements are met, travel as needed, and contribute to business development while leveraging EY’s diverse capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, emergency management or related field.
• 5+ years related compliance, audit, financial management, disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience.
• CPA, CFE, or CEM designation preferred.
• Strong project management and ability to prioritize multiple engagements.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills; ability to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams to manage disaster recovery funding compliance for federal programs (FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, ARPA).
• Develop client relationships and coordinate with local governments to support project development.
• Oversee multiple projects to ensure client needs are met; monitor federally funded projects.
• Collaborate across EY solutions on business development initiatives.
