The role oversees annual financial compliance audits, SEFA workpapers, and audit responses, coordinating across Stillwater and partner campuses to deliver accurate, timely reporting for decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (conferred by start date).
• Seven years of progressively responsible experience in grant/contract financial management, sponsored programs administration, financial reporting, auditing, or governmental accounting, including two years in a supervisory or lead role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and coordination of the annual financial compliance audit, including audit workpapers, SEFA development, and audit responses.
• Coordinate external and internal desk reviews and institutional grant expenditure reviews across multiple campuses (Stillwater, OKC, OSU-IT, Tulsa, CHS, Langston).
• Develop, implement, and evaluate processes for monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc grant financial reporting, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Serve as departmental lead for grant financial reporting, data analysis, and reporting initiatives to support decision-making.
• Lead departmental budget reporting activities and manage the shared services agreement with Langston University.
• Supervise grant accounting staff and act as chief grant manager for Langston University grant via OSU/Langston shared services agreement.
