Oklahoma State University Stillwater is seeking a Finance Accountant I/II to join the finance team. The role provides financial services, prepares and reviews financial reports, and supports grant-related accounting and budgeting across units.

The successful candidate will work with unit heads, faculty, staff and students, performing accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, purchasing and budgeting while ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP and university policies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Business Administration, Financial, or related area; degree must be conferred by start date.
• Knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting principles; apply knowledge to finance activities.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to prepare complex reports on deadline.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, revenue analyses, expense analyses, encumbrance analyses; assist with grant budgeting.
• Assist with budget development and control with emphasis on grant-related finances for assigned units/departments.
• Perform accounting functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, purchasing, budgeting.
• Collaborate with unit/department heads, faculty, staff and students; ensure confidentiality and accuracy.
