Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, budget planning and financial analysis with ability to interpret fiscal regulations.
• Ability to assess, research, and resolve complex financial and compliance issues with sound judgment.
• Deep understanding of financial management in a clinical trial setting and strong auditing background.

Responsibilities

• Compliance management of grant/contract/clinical trial terms; ensure federal/state/ sponsor guidelines compliance.
• Invoicing, accounts receivable, and cash management; monitor payment schedules and cash flow.
• Month-end close; prepare journal entries and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Prepare financial reports; address discrepancies and meet deadlines.
• Perform project closeout; ensure cost share, unallowable costs removal, and proper documentation.
• Support internal/external audits with required documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
