REJIS Commission is seeking a Grant Administrator III to lead the post-award lifecycle and manage funded projects from award through closeout. You will align compliance, financial stewardship, and reporting to drive outcomes and measurable impact.

Collaborating across teams and with member agencies, you’ll help leadership make informed decisions, ensure budget discipline, and keep funders confident in program delivery.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, finance, criminal justice, political science, or a related field.
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in grants management, project management, or nonprofit or government program administration.
• Demonstrated experience managing awards throughout the post-award lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects with defined scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for budget development, tracking, and pivot tables, and Word.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write persuasively for funders and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy.

• Own the Grant Lifecycle: interpret award agreements and requirements for internal teams.
• Protect funding and financial accountability: monitor expenditures and budgets with Finance involvement.
• Deliver accurate, timely reporting: prepare and submit quarterly, semiannual, and annual reports.
• Maintain audit-ready records: organize grant files and support audits and closeouts.
• Stay ahead of changing requirements: monitor regulatory updates and advise leadership.
• Lead Projects From Plan to Completion: define scopes, milestones, schedules, resources, dependencies, and risks.
• Turn funding into action: track progress against goals, budgets, and performance measures.
• Keep projects moving: identify issues and propose corrective actions.
• Manage performance and accountability: monitor subrecipients and contractors, review invoices.
• Turn Data Into Better Decisions: report on revenue, funding pipeline, spending, and risks.
• Share knowledge: train staff and member agencies on grant administration.
