Job summary

Knox County is seeking a Workforce Navigator for Community Development to support the Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program grant. The role assists the Division Director, coordinates with employers, VA providers, and partners, and helps track and report on program activities.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), 1 year of experience, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to work in a team in an office setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1 year of experience in related role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with PCs, tablets, smartphones and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Compile and maintain records for grant compliance and timeliness.
• Conduct outreach, intake, eligibility screening and assessments.
• Support workforce development through tracking, employer engagement, and reporting.
• Assist in data collection and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Coordinate with employers, workforce agencies, VA providers, and partners.
