Job summary

St. Bonaventure University is seeking a full-time Coordinator to support 60+ Pell-eligible students pursuing helping professions. The role centers on early intervention, connecting across divisions, academic advisement, internships, and wellness initiatives to boost retention and graduation rates.

The position involves leadership of scholarship awards, student mentorship, and ongoing assessment of program impact, with additional duties supporting the University community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required. Demonstrated past experience working with student populations is expected; experience in a college or university setting highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Chair the Cabrini Scholarship Committee to grant initial awards and reallocate awards for upcoming years.
• Mentor students with regular meetings addressing academic progress, personal, financial, career and wellness concerns.
• Monitor usage of student supports and assist in Cabrini Grant reports with Grants Office.
• Actively participate in University committees and initiatives as needed.
