Binghamton University is seeking a Coordinator for Student Success Coaching in the Department for Student Transition and Success. The role focuses on academic coaching and student engagement inside and outside the classroom to support undergraduate success.

The position emphasizes data-based program design, collaboration with campus resources, and contributing to retention and graduation goals for at-risk students while promoting an inclusive campus experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) required.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in coaching, advising or adjacent roles in higher education.
• Experience in programming, presenting, providing workshops and/or teaching.
• Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with campus partners and departments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact and provide success coaching on a walk-in or appointment basis and refer to appropriate resources.
• Lead and assist in planning, promoting and coordinating interactive support programs for designated student cohorts using a data-based approach.
• Work with the Student Transition and Success team to support student success programming.
• Assist with coordination and facilitation of student staff training.
• Aid recruitment for graduate and undergraduate staff specializing in peer success coaching.
• Supervise the Graduate Assistant for Success Coaching & Marketing; coordinate GA projects.
• Serve as primary contact for cross-campus partnerships and develop titled projects.
• Lead development/facilitation of specific academic success workshops for faculty and staff.
• Represent Binghamton University at campus, local, regional, state and national events.
• Engage in professional development activities which may include travel.
• Occasional evening, night, or weekend work may be required.
• Organize staff bonding events and maintain the Success Coaching referral form.
