Binghamton University is seeking a Coordinator for Student Success Coaching in the Department for Student Transition and Success. This role provides one-to-one coaching, workshops, and program design to boost undergraduate student engagement and retention, including managing a peer coaching program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) is required.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience in coaching, advising or adjacent roles in higher education.
• Documented experience in programming, presenting, providing workshops and/or teaching experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with a variety of campus partners and departments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact and provide success coaching on a walk-in or appointment basis and refer to appropriate offices or resources.
• Plan, promote and coordinate interactive support programs for designated student cohorts using a data-based approach.
• Collaborate with the Student Transition and Success team to support student programming.
• Assist with coordination and facilitation of student staff training.
• Aid the recruitment process for graduate and undergraduate staff who specialize in peer success coaching.
• Supervise the Graduate Assistant for Success Coaching & Marketing and coordinate GA projects.
