Job summary

Tallahassee State College is seeking a Career Development Specialist for Wakulla CI to provide in-cell instruction and transition services for eligible participants. You will administer assessments, deliver the 100-Hour Transition Skills Program, and maintain documentation of services rendered.

Join a team supporting inmate release planning, pre-release connections with community providers, and coordinated hiring events.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or high school diploma with two years in workforce development or corrections.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Bonus: associate’s degree and one year in social services or corrections.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret assessments.
• Deliver the 100-Hour Transition Skills Program curriculum.
• Deliver additional Department programs as assigned.
• Maintain documentation of services delivered.
• Report attendance, enrollments and completions monthly.
• Coordinate pre-release connections with community providers.
• Assist Pre-Release Employment Navigators with hiring events and job search.
