Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent including 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting and one year of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet grant submission deadlines and work additional hours as needed.
• Experience meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, reporting and budget management per GAAP.
• Develop fiscal projections and prepare budget reports.
• Manage grant administration activities including proposals and budgets.
• Advise on policies and procedures related to grants, purchasing, contracts, travel, and research operations.
• Monitor faculty funding accounts and advise on financial risk.
