Job summary

Washington State University is seeking a Fiscal Analyst 2 to support cash management, fixed assets, notes, land and related entities. You will prepare reports, reconciliations, and audit deliverables, ensuring data accuracy across Sage and Workday while reporting to the Fiscal Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting and one year of relevant professional experience.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting financial data and preparing financial reports, statements and/or fiscal projections.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint) and other database apps.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Fiscal Manager and manage Cash, Fixed Assets, Notes, Land & Real Estate, and Related Entities.
• Prepare customized reports, reconciliations, and audit deliverables; ensure accuracy between systems (Sage and Workday).
