Xanterra Travel Collection at Grand Canyon South Rim is seeking a Restaurant Manager to oversee a high-volume operation including 4 station Food Court, Pizza Pub, banquet and mobile food service, with a staff of about 110 and a management team of 6.

The role emphasizes maintaining service quality, coaching and development, cost control and guest satisfaction, with a typical 40-hour, 5-day schedule and weekends/evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• At least two years of management experience in quick service operations or a la carte food & beverage dining.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive employee engagement.
• Strong problem solving and guest engagement abilities.
• Conflict resolution and teamwork across a diverse staff.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and POS systems, preferably Simphony.
• Ability to pass ServSafe Manager food sanitation and TIPS within 90 days.
• Basic budgeting and cost control understanding.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day work of multiple managers and staff to provide an exceptional dining experience.
• Interact with guests, staff, officials, and business clients.
• Maintain labor costs aligned with the financial plan and seasonal volumes.
• Oversee dining room operations and sanitary standards across the unit.
• Train staff and conduct performance reviews in collaboration with leadership.
• Manage inventories and ensure cost controls for back-of-house activities.
