Xanterra Travel Collection is hiring a Food & Beverage Training & Standards Manager for the Grand Canyon South Rim. You will lead hands-on training for all F&B staff, ensuring programs are current and compliant, from onboarding to ongoing development, in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on coaching, multi-format training delivery, and collaboration with senior L&D and F&B leadership to sustain Legendary Hospitality across outlets.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of F&B management experience.
• Experience in food & beverage operations in a high-volume setting.
• Front-of-house experience frequently used in training context.
• Must hold or be able to obtain ServSafe Food Handler, ServSafe Manager, and TIPS certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational ability.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities; flexible shifts including holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company Driver Safety Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide active, side-by-side training support to new hires and transfers across F&B outlets.
• Deliver engaging training across in-person, side-by-side, and group formats.
• Facilitate orientation and position-specific training for all F&B roles until standards are met.
• Ensure compliance training (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS) and corporate programs are delivered and documented.
• Track training completions in the LMS and maintain audit-ready records.
• Collaborate with L&D Manager and F&B leadership to align content with company programs.
• Plan pre-season training materials and onboarding logistics; adhere to safety policies.
• Identify and close training gaps to improve performance across outlets.
