Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Grand Canyon National Park South Rim. You will oversee restaurant operations, lead staff, ensure guest service, and manage training and administrative duties across dining room, kitchen, bar and special events.

The role is full-time year-round with a 40-hour schedule, a $48,000 annual salary, and housing options. You will work nights, weekends and holidays to support a fast-paced, guest-focused operation in a world-renowned

Qualifications

• 4 years salaried management experience in multi-unit dining establishments.
• Experience with and knowledge of all front-of-the-house positions.
• Beer, liquor and wine knowledge is a must.
• Experience managing the financial aspects of a restaurant.
• Ability to train and evaluate staff performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional operation with Kitchen Manager and Assistant.
• Maintain labor costs in accordance with plan and events.
• Oversee dining room and Arizona Steakhouse service for quality.
• Administer comprehensive staff training with the F&B Trainer.
• Approve promotions and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure sanitation and safety standards per company and Serve Safe.
