Job summary

Insight FS is seeking a capable operations professional to coordinate daily grain operations in coordination with the Location Manager and Grain Operations & Marketing Manager. You will help manage labor needs, budgets, and safety procedures while ensuring accurate grain handling and customer service.

The role requires CDL and a solid background in production scheduling, inventory, and maintenance, with a focus on safety and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a CDL license, valid driver’s license, and good driving record.
• 2-3 years of related work experience demonstrating daily leadership to production personnel.
• Understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong business knowledge, collaboration, communication, and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of daily grain operations with Location Manager and Grain Operations & Marketing Manager.
• Provide grain quality control including temperature readings, maintenance, moisture, and dockage targets.
• Assist with labor planning, payroll, and overtime cost management with Location Manager.
• Supervise grain department staff and operate grain-related software for customers.
• Inspect, maintain, and PMI grain equipment for safe operations and safety training.
