Job summary

Insight FS in Wisconsin is seeking a Grain Operations Foreman in Waupun to coordinate daily grain operations with the Location Manager and Grain Operations & Marketing Manager. The role emphasizes grain quality control, labor planning, budgeting, safety training, and responding to production needs, with potential supervision of staff.

A CDL and high school diploma are required, along with 2–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), valid license and satisfactory driving record.
• 2-3 years of related work experience demonstrating daily leadership to production personnel.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with production scheduling, inventory management, equipment maintenance, operation records, and expense control.
• Willingness to work in varied weather and lift 51-70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grain quality control including temperature readings, fan maintenance, inbound/outbound grain rotation, and moisture/dockage targets.
• Coordinate with Location Manager on grain labor needs and budgeted expenses.
• Supervise grain department employees and manage payroll/overtime costs as needed.
• Operate and troubleshoot grain-related software for internal and external customers.
• Inspect and perform PMI on all grain equipment for safe operation and efficiency.
• Collect grain samples and weigh incoming/outgoing shipments; manage on-site inventory.
