Landus Cooperative seeks an Operations Lead to supervise grain operations across multiple locations, driving efficiency and ensuring top-quality results. You will mentor teams, manage inventories, and coordinate logistics for trains, blending, and loading.

You will lead safety-focused initiatives, oversee capital projects, and align daily activities with long-term goals, while growing feed sales and origination with customers.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading grain operations across locations.
  • Proven ability to supervise and develop operational teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory, blending, and quality control.
  • Experience with train staging/loading and facility operations.
  • Strong safety leadership and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise location personnel in logistics, inventory, blending, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure timely staging, blending, and loading of trains with quality standards.
  • Provide training and mentorship for safe, effective elevator operations.
  • Identify and resolve maintenance issues in grain facilities.
  • Oversee grain inventory accuracy and quality across sites.
  • Educate staff on grain management: preventing over-drying and off-grade issues.
  • Plan and support facility expansions and multi-year optimization projects.
  • Maintain safety compliance and act as a safety champion.
  • Manage capital project budgets across locations, prioritizing needs.
  • Collaborate with leaders to align operations with business goals.
  • Contribute to growth in grain origination, feed sales, and customer relations.
  • Uphold company policies for HR, grain, and feed operations.
