Job summary

Scoular is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee a large-volume facility or multiple asset-based locations. You will manage daily operations, logistics, and multi-team leadership, while ensuring safety procedures and quality across inbound and outbound shipments.

You will drive maintenance programs, coordinate transportation, supervise teams, and partner with managers to grow efficiency and customer service. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing or operating a grain elevator, cleaning plant, mill or agricultural commodity processing facility.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple teams and deadlines.
• Knowledge of accounting and inventory controls.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of inventory management, including product segregation, conditioning, maintaining inventory quality, maximizing mix and blend activities, controlling shrink, ensuring accurate weights and grades on inbound and outbound shipments, and achieving contract specification on all shipments.
• Coordinate transportation and maintenance needs for the facility to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Provide strategic plans to Scoular leadership to maintain facility performance through preventive maintenance and capital improvement.
• Responsible for product quality, quantity and inventories, including inbound and outbound product flow.
• Direct vendors and customers in the daily processes of the property.
• Maintain basic to intermediate understanding of Merchandising and Accounting.
• Identify and contribute to revenue-generating ideas and activities to grow the bottom line.
• Plan and execute operational and merchandising strategies for the facility(s) and trade unit.
