Job summary

Scoular is seeking a Superintendent to oversee daily facility operations, ensure employee safety, and supervise labor teams. The role includes coordinating transportation, managing inventories, and driving process improvements to support on-time deliveries.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication, and the ability to solve problems independently. A focus on safety and collaboration across divisions is essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the facility and ensure safety of location employees.
• Direct non-exempt laborers and assist with recruitment and training.
• Coordinate transportation and maintenance needs for on-time deliveries.
• Manage product quality, quantity and inventories; inbound/outbound flow; ensure equipment is functional and safe.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with environmental requirements.
• Supervise facility staff and schedule laborers to meet work demands.
• Engage teams with inclusive leadership and cross-divisional collaboration.
