Job summary

Scoular Co. in Kansas is seeking a Facility Manager to lead a large-volume facility or multiple asset locations. The role oversees daily operations, logistics, team leadership, inventory blending, and safety compliance to grow our agricultural business.

You will manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and drive improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency while partnering with stakeholders to meet targets and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Experience managing or operating a grain elevator or agricultural facility.
• Detail oriented with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills in business transactions.
• Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of accounting, financial practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with agricultural trading standards and procedures.
• Willingness to travel as needed and capability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of merchandising, safety and operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management, quality, and blending activities.
• Coordinate transportation and maintenance for on-time deliveries.
• Develop strategic plans to maintain competitive facility performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead multiple teams and drive recruiting, training and development.
• Manage vendor and customer daily processes and relationships.
• Support revenue growth through operational improvements and new ideas.
• Plan and execute merchandising and operational strategies for the facility.
