Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Grain Elevator Operator at one of our facilities. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping grain products, with duties at barges, rail cars and trucks.

This role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and maintaining grain quality. You may require operating heavy equipment, working extended hours, and up to 5%-20% travel depending on location. CGB offers a robust benefits package and clear paths for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of industrial environment experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow directions, document accurately and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Load/unload barges, transfer grain and oversee deckhand(s).
• Perform rail duties and ensure grain quality during transfer.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• General housekeeping and maintenance tasks as assigned.
