Bartlett in Council Bluffs, IA is hiring Elevator Operators for a 3rd shift (11pm–7am). Compensation starts at $23.00/hr with overtime as needed, including weekends.

You will operate grain handling equipment and support receiving, storage, drying, and loading processes to keep the facility running smoothly. This hands-on role requires English literacy, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Overtime and weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitor stored grain condition.
• Maintain and clean grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for team members.

The Basics

Location: Council Bluffs, IA

Compensation: $23.00/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job will be 3rd shift, 11pm to 7am, Monday thru Friday with overtime as needed, including weekends.

Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What You’ll Be Doing

The duties of this hands‑on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross‑trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements To Be Successful In This Position

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check
