Job summary

Bartlett in Atchison, KS is seeking a hands-on Grain Elevator Operator to join our team on the second shift (2:45pm–10:45pm, Mon–Fri, with overtime and weekends). You will handle grain receiving, storage, drying, blending and loading, while maintaining safe, clean facilities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, English literacy, reliable transportation, ability to pass a background check, and willingness to work overtime. We offer strong benefits and a culture of safety.

The Basics

Location: Atchison, KS

Compensation: $23/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job will be 2nd shift, 2:45pm-10:45pm, M-F with ample overtime, including weekends.

Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What You’ll Be Doing

The duties of this hands‑on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross‑trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements To Be Successful In This Position

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekendsProfessional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check
