Job summary

Bartlett, located in Kansas City, KS, is seeking Elevator Operators for a second shift position earning $25.00/hr and up. You will handle grain receiving, storage, drying, blending, and loading, with responsibilities across the grain elevator operations.

Overtime including weekends is expected. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.

Location: Kansas City, KS

Compensation: $25.00/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job will be 2nd shift, 1pm to 11pm, Tuesday thru Thursday and 10am to 8pm on Friday with overtime as needed, including weekends.

Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What You’ll Be Doing

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross‑trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements To Be Successful In This Position

• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check

• You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
