A leading agribusiness company is seeking Grain Elevator Operators to join its team in Sheridan Lake, CO. This hands-on position involves grain receiving, storage, handling, and loading. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and the ability to work overtime and weekends. The role requires physical strength, including lifting up to 50 pounds. The Basics

Location: Towner, CO

Compensation: $22-$24/hr

Days/Hours: This job will be 1st shift. Usual hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday, with some OT, including weekends. During harvest you can expect lots of OT with 12-14 hour days.

Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc; liquid bulk fertilizer

What you’ll be doing:

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements to be successful in this position:

• Able to travel to Scott City and Healy KS to assist with train loading and other projects, as needed. This is infrequent
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
• Available to work overtime and weekends
• Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
• Able to pass a criminal background check

• You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
