Job summary

Bartlett Co. is hiring Elevator Operators in Atchison, KS. The role involves hands-on grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending and loading of grain, while monitoring grain conditions and maintaining facilities and equipment to ensure a safe work environment.

The position is 2nd shift, 2:45pm–10:45pm, Monday through Friday with ample overtime including weekends. You will operate various grain handling equipment, primarily conveyors and legs, and handle bulk commodities such as wheat,

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read, write, understand and follow written/verbal instructions in English.

The Basics

Location: Atchison, KS

Compensation: $23/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job will be 2nd shift, 2:45pm-10:45pm, M-F with ample overtime, including weekends.

Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs

Material Handled: Bulk commodities: wheat, corn, soybeans, etc

What you’ll be doing:

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.

• Reliable transportation

• Available to work overtime and weekends
