Job summary

KIPP Memphis Public Schools seeks a Graduation Coach to support high school students in planning and achieving graduation. The role involves mentoring, data analysis, and coordinating with teachers, counselors, and families to remove barriers to graduation.

You will develop Engagement and Career Plans, monitor progress, and provide guidance on academic planning and career pathways for students at risk of not graduating.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred for enhanced qualifications.
• Valid Tennessee teaching/counseling/leadership certificates or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Identify at-risk students and develop strategies to keep them engaged and on track to graduate.
• Develop and implement Engagement and Career Plans with input from teachers, counselors, parents, employers, and mentors.
• Review progress each semester and adjust plans as needed; collaborate to ensure adherence to Engagement Plans.
