Job summary

Memphis-Shelby County Schools seeks a Graduation Coach to assist high school students with graduation and completion. The role involves analyzing data to spot at‑risk students, and coordinating individual graduation plans with teachers and counselors.

You will identify barriers to graduation and help students plan career paths, working with families and school staff to support success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, training, subject field, curriculum or related content area.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Tennessee certificate in Teaching, Service (School Counseling, School Psychology, and/or School Social Work), and/or Leadership Knowledge required.
• Five years of successful counseling/teaching experience required.
• Proof Of Education, Training, And/Or Experience Is Required.
• Degree Equivalency Formula applies: Bachelor’s = 4 years + experience; Master’s = 2 years + experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to identify students or subgroups with potential graduation problems.
• Plan, implement, and track individual graduation plans.
• Identify and resolve barriers to graduation.
• Facilitate career choices and planning.
• Work with students, faculty, staff, parents, and guardians.
