Job summary

Gestalt Community Schools (GCS) in Memphis seeks a student-centered Graduation Coach to support high school scholars on the path to graduation and postsecondary readiness. You will identify at-risk scholars using academic and behavioral data and provide targeted interventions to keep them on track for high school completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education and an active Tennessee teaching certificate.
• Minimum five years of successful counseling and/or teaching experience.
• Ability to analyze student data to identify needs and develop interventions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify scholars who are at risk of not graduating using relevant data.
• Counsel and support identified scholars by developing strategies to keep them engaged.
• Develop and monitor Engagement and Career Plans for scholars at risk of not graduating.
• Review progress each semester and adjust supports as needed.
• Coordinate graduation supports and transitions between middle and high school.
• Engage families and community partners to support graduation and transition.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on needs.
