Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world settings within CVS Pharmacy locations. Under supervision, you will follow a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap covering store, district, and regional operations, patient safety, DUR, SOPs, and empathetic patient care.

You will help the pharmacy team ensure safe, timely prescription processing and learn to deliver care that exceeds patient expectations as you progress to greater responsibilities.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Uphold patient safety and ensure accurate prescription labeling.
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist with immunizations and other pharmacy services where allowed by law.
