Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice in a retail pharmacy setting. Under a preceptor and district leader, you will complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap covering store, district, and regional operations, focusing on patient safety, error prevention, and medication use review.

You will support pharmacists and technicians, ensuring timely, safe, and accurate prescriptions while learning SOPs and professional standards.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentration on a task over a period of time; pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
• Physical Demands: mobility and lifting as required to dispense medications
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
