Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply school learnings in real-world practice and develop toward a Pharmacist role. Under supervision, you will complete a 120-day training roadmap covering store, district, and regional operations and learn to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions while delivering caring service.

You will gain hands-on experience, strengthen patient safety practices, and participate in SOPs and ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Support immunizations and other patient services where allowed by law and required training.
• Travel to stores in the market to work shifts as needed by the business.
